Data_Assembly_Workshop

The iPlant Tree of Life (iPToL) Data Assembly Working Group, led by Doug Soltis, Michael Donoghue and Pam Soltis, is hosting a workshop at the Hilton Phoenix Airport, Phoenix, AZ, on Nov 21-22 (arriving Nov 20th). The primary goal of the workshop is the development of a plan to obtain data for all species of green plants to feed into a large-scale phylogenetic analysis, leading to the tree of life for green plants. We will be discussing how to marshal the data available in the community, and how to scale up data collection.
