Adding one or more users to a VNC session

Downloading and Installing VNC Viewer

Please download and install the appropriate Enterprise Edition VNC Viewer for your operating system from the link below.

Adding Users

Launch the VNC Viewer application. You will then see the following window:

Enter the IP address of your Server and click Connect. You will be prompted to enter your password; type your password and click OK.

Single click on the VNC icon on the upper right hand corner of the VNC Viewer window.

Click on the Options button in the pop-up window.

Choose the Allow VNC Viewers to connect to VNC Server option; this will enable the Configure button. Click on the Configure button.

Click on "Add User" button (optionally click on "Full Access" if you want to grant the other User the ability to fully control the screen).

Enter the iPlant user name of the User for whom you want to give access and click OK.

Click on the "Apply" button in the "Options" window.

You have successfully added the User to your VNC session.
