  • Crimson website and information, where is it located? Still cannot be found. NEW ACTION: Michael will follow up with Sheldon and Jerry to see what needs to come of the information
  • Deliverable – web name resolution service prototype built

Open Discussion

  • Bill – tomorrow will demo the output from our prototype taxonomic intelligence and get information from the group.
  • Michael – Does this articulate what we are bringing to the meeting? What the requirements of the prototype are? Bill – Yes, the prototype was developed.
  • Val – What are the requirements on a broader scale, not just in this working group but throughout iPlant? What is the general picture of the effort of requirement collection? What other requirements are needed?
  • Val – I contacted Brian for Tree Manipulation cases to spark more activity on the collection front.
  • Michael – We do have crossover between the working groups to ensure cohesion. We have several members, like Bill, who attend different group meetings so information can be shared.
  • ACTION: Seek out use cases you may have in mind now and email them to Jerry and Sheldon. They will put them together and pass it on to other groups. A wiki page will be created.
  • Jerry created the wiki page for the Data Integration use case put your “Tree Subsetting” case there. https://pods.iplantcollaborative.org/wiki/display/iptol/User+Cases+Collection
  • The wiki space is there for collaboration, anyone can create a page as needed. If you don’t have that level of access let Michael know.
  • Michael – I see we need to engage the group more, more discussions on what we are looking for, where we are going, and to tap into the expertise we have available.
